It was finding the mic OK when I plugged it in, but the mic I was using had a mono jack plug, and when I changed it for one with a When I go to "Device Manager" there is no exclamation mark before any driver. Dank u vriendelijk. I have tried updating the Realtek driver but that didn't change anything. The default setting of Power Options is "Balanced", changing it to "High performance" improved immediately the bad sound quality of (Control Panel-Power Options - check High Performance). Press Win+R (Windows key and R key) at the same time.
It doesn't contain any junkware, malware or adware. Both mic and audio need to be inserted for the mic to work. I have no idea what's wrong.
