Many AVG update problems have been attributed to a corrupted Winsock/TCP-IP stack. Tried to start system restore in computer management. Aarh, the relief! Also, Web Of Trust and Adblock+ are a must for me.Dafydd.PS.

Get the answer zooith November 18, 2014 4:56:10 PM AVG notified me that C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3\old\1\printconfig.dll was a virus/malware after doing the updates today also. I had the same thing pop up with AVG during the update on Dec 10, 2014. two can cause issues.
