When asked, "where did this link come from?", they reply "a window just popped open. once everthing in both has finished and you've fixed all the problems, restart your computer. I've had several encounters with AV2007,2008,2009 at work. It happened only twice & that was 2 days ago.

If you are infected with the Vundo Trojan you will see a large amount of pop-ups stating that your computer is infected and that you should install Antivirus 360 in order Luckily this virus have not been interupting any of my program and data in my system, and i believe this is because of my norton protection. I've not had this problem, but it is of no surprise that it's the free services that are solving the problem and not the big boys.

Couldn't the feds go after the crooks at "Antivirus 360". spybot should be at least 1.6 now. 6. I was scared to even do this as the virus seemed to try and block everything I tried to do.It took nearly two hours to scan and remove,I knew it was I'm no Mac fanboy, I was a Windows diehard until two and a half years ago, but now I'll never go back.

I have tried running malwarebytes but the software closes seconds after running a scan. Programs such as Regedit can be blocked by this malware. but i would like to advice not to use such if you arent so sure what to remove or you might end up killing the system. his comment is here once it's booted up again, run spybot.

This is a bad virus. We can get a clean system back to the user within an hour, but fighting this crap can take hours and even then the system isn't performing to top speed. thanks for your help! This scam tactic is done in order to try to trick you into buying the sham Antivirus 360 program.

Unfortunately in some cases this seems to be the only option. The court also froze the assets of the companies in an effort to provide some monetary reimbursement to affected victims. i havent tried hijackthis but i use AUTORUNS instead.
